Congratulations for Olympic champion
Dear Sir,
I would personally like to congratulate Bolton-born track cyclist Jason Kenny, who is now a triple Olympic champion after adding two further titles at the velodrome in London to the gold and silver he won in 2008.
At the tender age of just 24, Kenny is now the 8th most successful British Olympian of all time and I am confident that he will be snapping at the heels of the likes of Sir Chris Hoy and Bradley Wiggins when Olympic track cycling resumes in Rio 2016.
I hope that Jason Kenny has inspired school children across Greater Manchester to take up the sport from an early age in the hope that more world class track cyclists from the area can rule the velodrome for years to come.
Well done Jason Kenny.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Nuttall
